Attitude of students of colleges to independent physical activity

The article raises the questions of modern students' motivation to independent sports activity. The research reveals a number of findings: firstly, the motivation for independent physical and sports activity; secondly, types of male and female students' active attitudes to physical exercises; thirdly, their interest to different kinds of sports; fourthly, the factors of formation of sports interests; then, obstacles for regular sports and physical activity; and finally, differences in males' and females' motivation to physical exercises. The results we report here were obtained from traditional methods: scientific-methodological literature analysis, questionnaire survey, interviewing.
