Otoliths modern and fossil of the saffron cod Eleginus gracilis (Gadidae) from shell middens of Jankovsky archeologycal culture and modern saffrom cod from Amur Bay

Studying saffron cod’s otoliths, collected in site shell middens of archaeological parking at coast of Peter the Great Bay, allows not only to compare a condition of population structure during the various periods of time, but also to reconstruct ecological conditions in a coastal zone.
