Reflection in the regional current documentation of the XVIII c. the phonetic phenomena in the field of the Russian language consonants

The paper analyzes a possibility of reflection the phonetic phenomena in the written monuments of the XVIII-th century. On a material of variable spelling of consonants in the Trans-Baikalian current documentation of that period the reflection of Trans-Baikalian regiole^'s phonetic features of the time can be traced, such as long pronunciation of solid hissing instead of soft [šš'], neutralization of hard and soft consonants, the loss of intervocalic [j] in adjective declination’s forms, hissing and whistling nondifferentiation, etc. All these phonetic phenomena were typical to the parent dialects of Northern Russia.
