Water content in tissues of seed-bearing plants of Beta vulgaris L. during modeling of water deficit and its compensation

In the plants of Beta vulgaris L. red beet of the Bordo 237 variety the authors determined the juice osmotic potential, water content, water potential and water-holding capacity of different organs tissues during stressing by drying (48 hours) and subsequent reparation by holding in water (1-5 days). It was shown, that in the conditions, modeling the drought, the water-holding capacity decreases in the first place in no reproductive organs.
