The article presents a new approach to paleoclimatic studies. This concerns complex studies based on modeling of environmental conditions for relatively short periods of time, established in accordance with the period of existence of certain archaeological cultures. The presented studies concern the sites belonging to the terminal period of the Middle Bronze Age and are classified as a series of catacomb archeological cultures known from the north-western part of the Caspian Sea, the Kuban River basin, the Lower Volga region, the Dnieper-Don region and the Dnieper-Prut region. The studied paleosomes attributed to different geographic zones have a common feature - high salinity and carbonate content.
