The Palestinian problem in the context of the Middle Eastern conflict at the turn of 1948-1990: the international legal aspect

This article addresses the Palestinian issue, which has always been relevant in the Middle East. 1948-1990 were for the Palestinians a period of socalled armed struggle. Analyzed the causes of this problem. The characteristics of the Palestine Liberation Organization and its terrorist activities are given not only in Palestine, but also in other countries. The international documents concerning the Palestinian problem are explored. The authors pay special attention to the consideration of the political situation not only in the conflicting parties, but also in the neighboring countries of the Middle East who take an active part in resolving the Palestinian issue. An important role in the Middle East conflict was played by the great powers - the USA and the USSR. At the turn of 1948-1990. this problem was not resolved peacefully. The whole process is considered in the context of the principles of international law.
