The article discusses the preserved historic sites of the Polish people of Pyatigorsk: Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord and several burials of the city necropolis. The author speaks about the significant contribution of Pyatigorsk local historians to the historiography of this subject and to the study of the Polish component of the city's history in general. The article provides a brief overview of the main milestones in the religious life of the Poles in Pyatigorsk in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The history and current state of the Catholic church and the Lutheran-Catholic section of the Pyatigorsk necropolis are characterized. The article includes information about the preserved parish registers of the local Roman Catholic Church. As a result of the research, the author has come to the conclusion about insufficiency and irregularity of the study of historical sites of the Polish people of Pyatigorsk in the 19th - early 20th centuries. The main directions of scientific research aimed at reducing and eliminating the resulting gaps are proposed.
