Natural Monuments of Duldurga District, Zabaikalsky Krai (Russia): Results of Environmental Certification

The article presents the results of the first environmental certification of natural monuments of regional significance in Duldurga district of Zabaikalsky Krai (Russia), which we specifically described in 2020/21. Later in 2022, during field research, we again assessed the monuments for their ecological condition and in terms of expanding the previously given official list of natural monuments of Zabaikalsky Krai in general and Duldurga district in particular. In total, 6 officially known natural monuments were characterized: the Alkhanay char, the mud volcanoes of the Ilinsky depression, the Alkhanay Gate rock complex (buryat: Uuden Sume), Lake Bain-Tsagan, Olengui Nature Reserve, Mount Sakhanay. Each passport is drawn up according to a standard form approved by the Law of Zabaikalsky Krai of 03/09/2010 N 338-ZZK (as amended on 05/30/2023) “On Protected Areas in Zabaikalsky Krai” (adopted by the Legislative Assembly of Zabaikalsky Krai on 02/17/2010). A number of new botanical and zoological monuments of nature nature have been proposed: Armeniaca sibirica (L.) Lam., Nymphaea tetragona Georgi, Lycopodium juniperoideum Sw., Parnasius apollo (Linnaeus, 1758), Elaphe dione (Pallas, 1773), Ciconia nigra (Linnaeus, 1758), Anthropoides virgo (Linnaeus, 1758), Otis tarda dybowskii (Taczanowski, 1874), Hemiechnus (Mesechinus) dauuricus Sundevall, 1841, Otocolobus manul Pallas, 1778.
