The paradigmatic basis of economic development models

The paper examines the methodological basis of the economic development models' formation in the ontological and axiological aspects. On the basis of the generalization and systematization of the scientific knowledge, the author identifies four stages of its evolution in the development of general scientific, systemic and economic paradigms, as well as paradigms and concepts of space and time. The paper describes the regional development models in the framework of the paradigms used. The author formulates the paradigmatic basis of the formation of models corresponding to the present stage of scientific knowledge development.
