Adaptability parameters of winter garlic candidate varieties depending on the study area

The research findings on winter garlic candidate varieties in two ecologically different zones: the Altai Region and the Republic of Kazakhstan are discussed. The adaptability parameters of the genotypes were determine, the response of the genotypes to the testing environment enables to identify promising and highly adaptive candidate varieties which are very important for further plant breeding work. The candidate varieties with high stability and high level of genotype breeding degree were revealed. The candidate varieties according to their response to the growing conditions were identified.
