Proverbs in computer discourse

The purpose of this article is the defining of the peculiarities of the functions of computer proverbs in the Russian and English languages. The author gives the definition to the term discourse, comparative characteristics of modified variants of proverbs with their equivalents and explain the functions of these proverbs in speech of users. The analysis showed the existence of lexical substitution in presented proverbs. Language game is the peculiarity of computer proverbs.
