Paroemiological representation of the cultural concepts “iskusstvo” and “remeslo” / ‘art’ and ‘craft’ in the Russian and the English languages

The aim of this paper is reconstruction of the fragment of the paroemia’s world view as the reflection of the national Russian and British world perception. Both comparative analysis and descriptive method were used in this study. As a result of the work, the comparative analysis of the cultural concepts ‘iskusstvo’/‘art’ and ‘remeslo’/‘craft’ has revealed their common features as well as the different ones.
