Participatory democracy and ballot

The application of philosophical methodology in the study of the political sphere is a subject for discussion. According to the deontological approach, with the help of philosophy an idea of a political ideal can be formulated. However, today there is no generally accepted understanding of democracy as a political ideal and as a reality. Models of democracy do not have a strict set of principles and depend on specific historical conditions. The article discusses participatory democracy, as well as the method of ballot as a way to implement it.
