Literature data concerning clinical-epidemiologic aspects of the disease which are due to herpes viruses, their interrelations with immune-deficient states, risk factors of occurrence and recurrence of the diseases are given in the article. The data obtained allow to come to the conclusion about necessity of using drugs having not only anti-herpetic activity but immune correcting ones such as Licopid and Immunofan.
