In 2017-2019 we studied pathogenic microflora on breeder and foundation seeds of sunflower perspective inbred lines, varieties and hybrids. The researches were conducted in fields of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK), Krasnodar. We used as initial material inbred lines VK-678, VK-101, VK-905, VA-760 and ED-765, OP-varieties VNIIMK 100, Skormas, Belochka, SPK, Kulundinsky-1 and Dobrynya, interline hybrids Arsenal, Achilles, Typhoon, and Factor. The assessment of pathogenic microflora on seeds was conducted due to the State standard 12044-81. We isolated the most fungi of the genus Alternaria Nees. on the seeds. Sunflower seed infection was: 18.3-31.0% in inbred lines, 18.7-30.0% in varieties and 18.7-26.0% in sunflower hybrids. But there weren’t established the significant differences between varieties. However, we observed dominant effect of year conditions on pathogen spores prevalence in seeds. Sunflower seeds infected with fungi of the genera Fusarium Lk:Fr., Rhizopus Ehrenb., Botrytis Mich. and bacteria didn’t exceed 3.0-6.3%. Infectious beginning of the dangerous quarantine object -phomopsis was found in seeds of inbred lines VK-905 and VA-760 and the variety VNIIMK 100, there were such seeds about 0.3-0.7%. This can be indicator of their weak adaptability to reproduction in the central zone of the Krasnodar region.
