Pathogenic action and dynamics of pathological changes in the intestine of mice infected single C. parvum

Studies have shown that a single cryptosporidiosis infestation leads to a general intoxication of the organism of the ill animal with cryptosporidium toxins. Changes are observed in the intestine where protozoa are localized. On the mucous membrane of it, deformation of the villi, edema, hyperemia of the vessels, single cells of the cast-off epithelium are noted. In the lumen of villi, the oocysts of cryptosporidium were located.
