Insome of sheep farms in the Dagestan Republic mastitis among lactating ewes can reach 15.8 percent. The main etiological factors of mastitis are Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcusagalactiae, often in associated form. In the mammary gland exudative-cell response in the form of desquamativecatar in the alveoli and ducts, serosis edema of the stroma with the subsequent transition to the diffuse purulent and abstemious inflammation with signs of granulation and fibrosis of the stroma are developed.
