Patriotism among the youth as a priority value in the performance of military service

Patriotism as a phenomenon of national spirituality and a component of public consciousness at the present time is relevant for Russian reality no less than many centuries ago, because the strength of any country is largely determined by the power of patriotism of its citizens. The theoretical bases of formation of patriotism among youth are considered in the article.
