The PCR-analysis of the aldoxime dehydratase genes from nitrile-degrading bacteria

We conducted the PCR-analysis of the aldoxime dehydratase genes from nitrile-degrading bacteria, which were isolated from the Perm region. It was established that only 13 of 91 strains (14.3%) from the laboratory collection contained aldoxime dehydratase genes. 12 strains of genus Rhodococcus (20.3%) contained DNA fragments which corresponded to aldoxime dehydratase gene by size. On the DNA matrix one of the Gram-negative strains - Pseudomonas fluorescens 3220 - the sequence identity with aldoxime dehydratase gene of the P. chlororaphis B23 was detected.
