The article examines the content of teaching methods of skill formation of creating written means of PR-communication, analyzed the concept of "module", "educational element", "learning unit". It is described the characteristics of student learning using the training manuals. Examples used in the training modules, the content of classes, as well as specified plan of writing by students their own PR-project are given in the article. In conclusion it is pointed out about the necessity to develop the content of the structural model of teaching students of "public relations" specialty and direction of training «advertising and public relations" for the implementation of the methodology described in the article
