Pedagogical essence of innovative activity in educational institutions

The article considers the fact that almost all educational institutions to one degree or another are engaged in innovative activities. Studying the experience of organizing the innovative activity of pedagogical teams of various types and types of educational institutions showed that the quantitative increase in the so-called “innovative practices” in educational institutions is explained by the following set of objective reasons and premises: awareness of the need for radical changes at all levels (federal, regional, municipal , a separate educational institution).
