Pedagogical purposes of formation and the main possibilities of modern informational educational environment

The article discusses the possibility of implementation of information and educational environment based on modern information technologies. The development of the information space requires both psychological and professional readiness of all participants of educational process. In the conditions of radical complexity of society, its technical and social infrastructure crucial is the change in people's attitudes to information, which becomes the most important strategic resource of society. The success of the transition to an information society essentially depends on the readiness of the education system in the shortest time to implement reforms necessary for its adaptation to the needs of the information society.
