The paper deals with the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the primary school student general culture in the process of foreign language education. It also substantiates the relevance of the problem, the necessity of increasing the primary school student general culture as one of the objectives of Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education. Primary foreign language education is presented in the paper as a means of the formation of the primary school student general culture.
