The article analyses the pedagogical conditions necessary for the effective functioning of the competence oriented education technology in the system of secondary vocational training. The pedagogical conditions were determined taking into account the technology content and its characteristics, specific features of the secondary vocational training, social demand, scientific achievements in competence oriented education technologies, author's experience in this field.
