Pedagogical aspect of Plotinus' ethical postulates in their application to the field of professional ethics of an employee of the internal affairs bodies

The article analyzes certain provisions of the ancient philosopher Plotinus, which are of a postulating nature and have undoubted pedagogical significance in solving a number of educational tasks aimed at the field of professional worldview of an employee of the internal affairs bodies. Focusing on the categories «good» and «evil», «virtue» and «soul», the authors come to the conclusion that it is advisable to integrate some theoretical conclusions of ancient philosophy into the employee's self-education system, contributing to the formation of a comprehensively developed personality of the employee, whose actions should correspond to the full realization the law enforcement mission entrusted to him.
