The authors have developed the subject -oriented Russian to English model of bilingual teaching «Information and Communication Technology» (ICT) at school, aimed at forming language and informational competence in pupils. The model was implemented in the elective ICT course. To check effectiveness of the model, a teaching experiment was held in 2008-2012 in a number of schools of the Republic of Tatarstan. The paper presents and analyzes the results.
