Pedagogical assistance to higher school faculty member in following healthy lifestyle

As the demands to the professional competence of the higher school faculty members increase so does the intensity of work, which is in the growing variety and volume of the intellectual and management activities as well as in the decreasing of time for the professional decision making. All these influence badly on the faculty member health in case their lifestyle is not healthy. The results of the stating experiment aimed at the finding of the faculty member point of view on the correspondence of their lifestyle to the healthy one are given. Also the factors influencing badly on the faculty member health are described. Special attention in the research is given to the finding of the behavior stereotype of following the safety rules when working with the information and communication facilities. Pedagogical assistance, aimed at the development of the higher school faculty member competence to lead to a healthy lifestyle in the framework of the additional training courses in the system of further training, is considered as a system including the diagnostic, information-orientational, activity-behavioral components.
