The article presents data considering the importance of pedagogical interaction in the adaptive physical education of children of preschool age with a delay in mental development. The authors analyze its characteristics in various forms of motor activity, consider the position of the teacher, pupils. The article also analyzes the functions of pedagogical influence, its value in the children's motor activity.
