Pension provision of police servants in tsar Russia: Turkestan region

The article is devoted to a problem of a provision of pensions for police servants in imperial Russia. Special pension advantages were given them in remote to suburbs of empire, such as Russian Turkestan. Considering specificity of edge, pensions were appointed on the reduced service life. Categories of pensions of grades of police were established in staffs of such documents, as the project of Turkestani Statute of 1867 and Regulations on Management of Turkestani edge of 1886. The author concludes that the established order of award of pensions to police grades of Russian Turkestan was kept until falling of imperial authority in the region in 1917.
