Transition from society to cooperative society: conceptual aspects

The paper is devoted to a fundamental scientific problem on which the author has been worked for the past several years. Its content is the theory of transformation of societal systems, which would provide objective knowledge about transforming societies, compensate for the increased level of risks in such societies, and determine the choice of strategy and tactics of transformation. Within this strategic direction, a conceptual analysis of the change in social organization of modern societies was implemented. The article presents arguments according to which the optimal way out of the crisis under consideration is a strategy for transition from “society” to “cooperative society”, reflecting the pattern of shifting the development dominant from natural-historical processes to socio-historical and socio-cultural ones. The paper determines eight substantial characteristics of the concept “society” that show new trends in modern public relations and make it relevant for development of the future society concepts.
