Transitional process as object of conceptual modelling: a review of some interpretations and theories

The different models and conceptions of cultural transformation in historiographical and mainly contemporary cultural studies are analyzed in this article. It is given the various visions and interpretations of shapes and images of transitional processes in history. It uses the historiographical materials on cultural transformations and typology of transitional process. The review of the concepts and research approaches show up the parameters, functions and morphology of the dynamics of transitions and peculiarities of structural transformation and survival of culture. This article examines the cognitions’ possibilities of farther study of transitional process by means of cultural analysis.
