Correspondence of the Orthodox Clergy of the St. Petersburg Diocese with Government Bodies in the 19th Century

The article examines examples of using the data of the metric books of the parish cathedral in the city of Schlüsselburg (St. Petersburg Diocese). On the basis of a complex of unpublished documents of the 19th century, the correspondence of the clergymen of the cathedral with state institutions and individuals was studied. The cases of submission of metric documents to the judicial authorities are also considered.
