The article discusses the specific features of scientific, educational and cultural institutions of the Chechen-In-gush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (Chechen-Ingush ASSR) in 1941-1945. The author emphasizes the fact that despite the difficulties of the wartime, the government of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR took all possible measures to implement the law on compulsory education. The paper describes in detail the activities of frontline concert teams, performances of which helped to raise the morale of the Soviet Army soldiers.
