In patients undergoing cardiac surgery CABG in the early postoperative period in 15-35% of cases there is a rhythm on the type of atrial fibrillation, which can lead to hemodynamic changes and arterial thromboembolic complications. To exclude such complications in the study included 154 patients who were divided into two groups: ligation of the left atrial appendage without it. The method of ligation of the LAA is an important surgical element in a comprehensive prevention of arterial thromboembolic complications in patients after CABG. On the basis of the data obtained demonstrated: application of the specified technique in the complex of measures for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with coronary heart disease and atrial fibrillation after CABG leads to a reduction in the risk of developing such complications.
