Transfers of works of Abay

The article provides information about translations of the great Kazakh poet and enlightener Abay Kunanbaev in different years, analyzes their meaning, translation methods. When translating Abai's works, the translations of a number of translators are compared and their differing and common sides are shown. When writing an article, the work of Kazakh and Russian scientists was used. The publication of Abay’s works in foreign countries shows that the poet’s works reflect the thoughts and thoughts of many peoples, regardless of their nationality, therefore they arouse interest in everyone.
