The article discusses perinatal literacy in a religious aspect as the basis for the development of a healthy society, both physically and spiritually. The author provides significant views on the prenatal life, as well as the subtleties and importance of observing and maintaining clear relationship. The author focuses on the formationof psychological problems of a person, including in fetal life, since, according to the author, the perinatal period is a unique time for the prevention of physical and mental health disorders. A comparison is given of the religious and secular approach to this issue. As we can see, the Orthodox view is the basis for a healthy and harmonious personality, while science already corrects errors that were caused by the neglect of the commandments. The author analyses the works that consider the structural interactions between mother and child (Mukhamedrakhimov R. Zh., Filippova G. G.), prenatal education effects (Checherina N.), attitude to a pregnant woman in a folk tradition (Zharikova Zh. N.), creation of a test of the relationship of a pregnant (Dobryakov I. V.), as well as the works on perinatal psychology and medicine (Shmurak Yu. I., Shikhova E. P., Filippovskaya T. V. etc.).
