The treatment of 50 patients with gonarthrosis, stage 3-4 (according to the classification of Kellgren-Lourens). All patients underwent surgery-total knee replacement using cement fixation. Perioperative and postoperative management of elderly and senile patients was carried out on the basis of the developed Protocol of complex geriatric assessment (CGA). Identification of risk factors and measures to correct them allowed to avoid the development to reduce the frequency of complications and increased the likelihood of a successful outcome.
