Personification of love in the poetic text

This research article looks into understanding of love as a concept which yields us an individual's personal world view as we study it. While depicting the feeling as an acting person, or subject, personification of love thus offers a detached view of the feeling. Based on evaluation of love personifications in the poetic text (particularly in samples of the New-age German poetry) we will formulate some distinctive features of the love construct and review some of the concepts it directly relates to: grief, death, pleasure, and hope
