Perspectives of innovation development of Russian-Kazakhstan border-region

Identification and assessment characteristics of innovation development of Russian-Kazakh border zone in terms of integration transformations and defining mechanisms to ensure the effective development of cross-border space. Investigation is based on the use of methods and techniques of logical, systematic, structural and functional, and comparative analysis. For the calculation were used methods of economic and statistical analysis. The tendencies of innovative development of the border regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation are revealed in the conditions of integration transformations. In the article marked out basic imbalances in the development of border areas; justified legitimate factors influencing the further development of the studied regions.
