Potential development trends of ore base of solid minerals of Timan-Northern Ural region

The data on the results of study of solid mineral deposits of Timan-Northern Ural region have been given. The availability of the Izhemskaya potential bauxite-bearing area was presented. New data on oil shales of the Yarengsky district were received; their high quality was proved. The gold and copper deposits of Timan and western slope of Northern Urals were studied. Within the Subpolar-Uralian quartz vein-crystal province the potential deposits of extra pure raw quartz were determined.
