Perspective directions of military-patriotic educational excursions of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region

In this article the author describes the main features of the military-patriotic direction in educational tourism of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. The article provides definitions of “military-patriotic educational tourism”. The author considers objects of material and intangible culture, as well as military-patriotic excursion programs using the following examples: excursion route “Road of Life” , “Sestroreckiy frontier”, museum-diorama “Breakthrough”, “Blockade room of the Agte family”, “Hero City Kronstadt” and others. Excursion programs considered are widely used in practice. In the article the author characterizes the pandemic time, which can be called the period of “stagnation” for tourist and sightseeing activities. However, the article describes the cases of creating and conducting virtual tours (for example, the tour dedicated to the memory of Olga Berggolz) using the platform IZI.Travel format. The author also pays attention to virtual tours, audio and video materials, master classes, which are given in the official groups of museums VKontakte, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. Examples of the above resources presented by the Military Medical Museum of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region are considered. In addition, the author describes on-line exhibition on the portal of the public non-profit organization “LENREZERV”, which stores the collection of material and documentary monuments of the Second World War. The article uses excursions photos and memorials dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War, examples of the excursion route formed on the IZI.Travel platform, as well as on-line exhibits. At the end of the article, the author gives conclusions for each issue considered in the article.
