Prospects for LDPR branding in the context of forming party identity after V.V. Zhirinovsky's death

The author of the article defines the prospects for the branding development of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia in the aspect of the formation of its identity after V.V. Zhirinovsky's death. The study was carried out on the basis of marketing and identity approaches, as well as structural and functional analysis. Conclusions dwells upon the fact that this party needs to maintain the ongoing activities of regional branches, develop party projects that allow the involvement of functionaries and supporters not only during periods of electoral campaigns, but also in inter-election periods. The LDPR needs to position itself more as a youth party, promote bright and charismatic young leaders in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the party's youth video blogging. It is also necessary to create party thought factories at regional branches, whose tasks will be constant monitoring and analysis of current youth trends, generating fresh creative ideas.
