Digital tools for sustainable economic development of local communities

The article substantiates the need, in addition to using state information systems, to develop digital platforms and services on the initiative and in the interests of the local community, which will make social interaction more intensive and multi-vector, as well as harmonize spatial development in terms of smoothing out contradictions between the city and the countryside. The process of digital transformation of local communities was comprehended within the framework of the paradigm of post-non-classical rationality. Institutions of public self-government have been identified as the driving force behind the development of modern technologies in the field. Digitalization of social relations within local communities is considered in four aspects: social interaction at the everyday level, economic interaction mainly of individuals, economic interaction mainly of legal entities and financial interaction. Examples of existing and hypothetically feasible digital platforms corresponding to each of the identified types of interaction are given. It is proved that the effectiveness of social interaction within local communities in the internal circuit should be described by the term ‘intangible benefit’. At the same time, the scope of economic laws will be maintained and even expanded in the external contour, taking into account the capitalization of the natural, economic, human and social potential of the territory.
