Prospects for innovation transport and logistics infrastructure northwest region of Russia

This article presents the main directions of innovative development of transport and logistics infrastructure of the Northwest Federal District, formed as a result of the analysis of the level of transport''s innovative development in the region (for example, road and water transport), road infrastructure problems, the process of innovation. On the basis of research potential of international cooperation in the field of cross-border cooperation with the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic States (Finland, Norway, Estonia) present the prospects of ensuring necessary conditions for an innovative logistics infrastructure development in the implementation of joint projects.
