Perspectives of the use and development of the equipment of the millimeter radio communication equipment by communication operators

The article highlights advantages and examples of using millimeter-wave packet radio communication equipment for telecom operators. Specific features of propagation of radio waves of millimeter range in the atmosphere are indicated. The analysis of the world and Russian manufacturers of packet radio communication equipment of millimeter range is carried out. Their main advantages and disadvantages are noted. The article makes some recommendations on the use of models of equipment presented in the analysis. The prospects of development of packet radio communication equipment of millimeter range are described.
