The prospects of the use of energy saving equipment in the car repair industry are considered with Baranovichy depot given as an example. Based on the analysis of electric power consumption balance by the groups of electrical equipment and according to the actual period of operation of the equipment requiring electrical energy the priority energy saving measures are defined: the use of thermal waste energy generated during compressor equipment operation for heating and hot water supply needs; the use of inverter welding sources for Nebula-315 welding arc; introduction of the computerized electric energy accounting system. The calculation of economic efficiency of the energy saving measures is provided, the payback period duration is specified.
