Perspectives for using mobile apps in higher educational institutions

Digitalization is confidently entering all spheres of society and the economy. The impetus for increasing the importance of e-education and e-education was the coronavirus pandemic. Questions of the effectiveness of such education are being raised at all levels. The article discusses the concept of mobile learning, lists the main advantages and disadvantages of using mobile applications in the educational process, provides examples of Russian and foreign experience of mobile learning, as well as an analysis of a sociological study in order to identify the most important components of a mobile application for university students.
