Prospects of use super early soybean sowings in the conditions of Krasnodar region

Use of cold resistant soybean cultivars Slavija and Alba with the lowered photoperiodic sensitivity for sow-ing in super early terms in the conditions of Krasnodar region makes it possible to obtain seedlings even in the mid-dle of April. The lowered photoperiodic reaction of these cultivars reduces negative effect of short day at the initial stages of plant growth. As a result, plants of cold resistant cultivars keep close to typical height of stems. Shift of all soybean vegetation for the earlier period allows using stored winter moisture deposits in soil and rainfalls during crop vegetation more effectively. Critical stages of plant's development (formation of beans - seeds' filling) come to the end before typical late summer droughts peak, what allows generating the increased yield.
