Prospects for the use of ash and slag waste from power engineering in the production of building insulation materials

Problems of disposal of ash and slag waste were studied and considered. Their rational use as an alternative source of secondary raw materials for the production of general-purpose foam glass is proposed. As a result of the research, the principal possibility of using ash and slag waste to produce foam glass was established. An approximate technological scheme of foam glass production was suggested.
