Prospects for economic cooperation of Russia and Libya

The article is devoted to the analysis of the prospects for Russian-Libyan economic cooperation in the near future. The relevance of this study is due to the stabilization of the political situation in Libya and the intensification of the actions of Russian companies in this country. Despite the fact that cereals are the main commodity group of Russia's exports to Libya, the key interests of Russian companies are related to the energy sector. However, the greatest significance for Russia is the strengthening of political influence in Libya, which may subsequently have a positive effect on political and economic cooperation with all countries of the Arab world.
